About RAL 010 30 15
The reason this particular combination works is that the colour has enough saturation to be recognised as red but too little to press itself forward. Saturated red demands attention continuously; this red lets itself be forgotten and only returns when you look at it. In a room where people stay for longer periods that difference is decisive.
The blue undertone of this hue works in its favour here. Next to dark wood — which always has yellow or orange in it — a red with a blue side gives contrast where a warm red would merge.
