Right of withdrawal

• General right of withdrawal

• The buyer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving reasons.

• The withdrawal must be submitted in writing or by another durable medium (by email, for example) to Stichting Nederlands Kleurinstituut, quoting the order number and the items concerned.

• The withdrawal period starts on the day the buyer receives the product or, where several products are involved, on the day the buyer receives the last product.

• Exclusions from the right of withdrawal The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Individual colour samples (such as RAL Design and RAL Classic colour samples and colour chips, which are selected per colour for you)

• Made-to-order products (such as RAL Individual)

• Digital products that have been downloaded

These products cannot be returned unless they are defective or damaged on receipt. RAL colour fan decks and design tools (such as RAL K7, RAL D2 and RAL 840-HR) can be returned within the withdrawal period, provided they are complete and undamaged.

• Returns If the buyer exercises the right of withdrawal, the procedure for returning the products is as follows:

• Step 1: Register the return by sending an email to info@nederlandskleurinstituut.nl. State the order number, the items you wish to return and the reason for the return.

• Step 2: Pack the product carefully, preferably in its original packaging, to prevent damage in transit.

• Step 3: If the product is defective or damaged, we will send you a return label. If you are returning for other reasons, the return costs are yours to bear.

• Step 4: Send the product to the following address:

• Krommenie, the Netherlands

• Step 5: Keep the proof of postage until you have received confirmation that your return has been processed.

• Refund

• After the returned product has been received and assessed against the return conditions, Stichting Nederlands Kleurinstituut will refund the full purchase amount within 30 days, including the outbound shipping costs (unless excluded). The refund is made through the original payment method.

• Cost of returning

• The cost of returning is borne by the buyer, unless the product is defective or damaged, in which case the return is free of charge for the buyer.

Specific points to note:

• No right of return on digital products: products such as software or digital downloads that have been downloaded cannot be returned.
• Individual colour samples: colour samples and colour chips selected per colour are excluded from the right of withdrawal; complete fan decks and design tools are not.
