About RAL 000 70 00
This range is widely used in work and care environments precisely because it holds that middle course. A completely white room reflects a great deal of light but offers little to hold on to; a grey at this level gives the room definition without making it smaller.
Practical point for floors: a grey at this level in a gloss finish can be perceived as wet or slippery by people with dementia or impaired vision. In that context always choose a matt finish.
