About RAL 1012
Character. Where most yellows in RAL Classic pull towards orange, 1012 goes the other way. That makes it lighter and sharper in impression, and it explains why, next to a warm yellow such as RAL 1004 golden yellow, it looks almost like a different colour family. RAL 1016 sulfur yellow goes one step further in the same direction.
Application. Signalling and marking, and industrial use where a bright, cool yellow is wanted.
