About RAL 1002
Character. RAL 1002 sits between the beiges and the true yellows. More saturated than RAL 1001 beige, but clearly more subdued than RAL 1003 signal yellow. On a small sample the colour reads as beige; over a large area the yellow comes forward. That difference in scale is greater with this colour than average and is the reason 1002 is often underestimated on a fan deck sample.
Application. Façade finishes and render, and industrial use where a visible but non-signalling yellow shade is wanted.
