About RAL 1000
Character. The green undertone makes this colour cooler and earthier than most beiges. Next to RAL 1001 beige, which is warmer and redder, that difference is immediately apparent. If you are looking for a neutral beige you are more likely to end up with 1001 or RAL 1019 grey beige; you choose 1000 when you deliberately want that green base.
Application. Military and technical equipment, where the colour originally comes from, and façade work where a subdued natural beige is wanted. In interiors the colour is rarely used.
