About RAL 1001
Character. Where RAL 1000 pulls towards green, 1001 lies closer to a neutral, slightly red-yellow beige. That makes the colour more usable over large areas, because it fits in with its surroundings instead of imposing a direction of its own. Next to white, 1001 looks distinctly warm; next to timber or brickwork it disappears.
Application. Façades, frames and exterior paintwork where a classic, quiet shade is wanted. Also widely used in machine building and on equipment of older generations, where beige was long the standard.
