About RAL 030 50 60
It is unusual for a hue to reach its maximum at two lightness levels rather than one. At 010 the peak was sharply at L* 40, at 020 at L* 50; here it is a plateau. The warm pigments hold their intensity across a wider range of lightness.
In practice that means freedom: within this hue you can choose maximum intensity and still decide whether you want a dark or a mid-light version. With the cool reds you have to give that choice up.
