About RAL 6031-F9
Character. Deep and low in chroma, on a bronze, slightly brown base that sets it apart from the ordinary dark greens. Where RAL 6009 fir green still works as a decorative colour, 6031-F9 was designed to merge with foliage, undergrowth and the shadowed parts of mixed woodland.
Function. The dominant colour of the Central European blotch pattern, combined with 6040-F9 light olive, 8027-F9 leather brown and 9021-F9 tar black.
Gloss level. Extremely matt. This colour also exists in a satin gloss version as RAL 6031-F9 HR; the two are not interchangeable. Always state in specifications and orders whether the matt or the HR version is meant.
Please note. RAL 6031 also exists in the RAL Classic collection, as an ordinary opaque colour with different measured values and without a gloss specification. Always write the F9 suffix.
