RAL Classic — rAL F9 camouflage colours
RAL F9 is a separate range within RAL Classic, developed by RAL together with the Bundeswehr. It holds the camouflage colours the German armed forces prescribe and comprises eleven colour register cards for ten colours: the range is matt, and RAL 6031-F9 Bronze green also exists as an HR card in satin gloss.
An F9 card is not a fan deck sample but a primary standard: an original paint specimen with measurement data and gloss ranges, suited to formulating paints and to quality control. Gloss is part of the specification for this range — in the field, no reflection may occur.
