About RAL 3024
Character. Not an opaque colour but a fluorescent shade, in which the pigment converts ultraviolet light into visible light. This colour cannot in principle be shown on a screen.
Application. Warning, safety clothing, emergency services and temporary marking.
Fluorescent pigments are distinctly less lightfast than ordinary pigments. Outdoors the signalling effect diminishes before the colour visibly fades.
