About RAL 3009
Character. Warmer and browner than RAL 3005 wine red. The colour takes its name from the pigment type traditionally used for it, and that also explains its use: iron oxide pigments are exceptionally lightfast and weather-resistant, which makes this colour hold up considerably better outdoors than the saturated red shades.
Application. Roofing and coated roof sheeting, steel structures, façade cladding and exterior paintwork.
