About RAL 020 30 48
That combination — very dark and almost fully saturated — does not exist in most hues. In the blue area the system stops at saturation 40 across the whole lightness scale; here you reach it already at lightness 30.
Red is therefore one of the few hues in which depth and intensity can go together. That explains its position in theatre, hospitality and anything that has to look dramatic.
