About colour family 190

Colour family from series 100: six solid colours and one metallic. The family sits in the light, strongly muted region with a green-blue hue.

The six solid colours. 190-1 through to 190-6. The series runs from L* 89 to L* 76 — a controlled progression, usable where parts have to differ from one another without reading as a different colour.

The metallic. 190-M is matched to these six and is intended to be used alongside them, not as a replacement for one of the six. The metallic 190-M is distinctly darker than the six solid colours. Never assess a metallic on a flat sample alone: viewing angle, film thickness and application method all help determine the result. Work with a sample in the final finish.
