About RAL 050 30 36
Dat is contra-intuïtief. Oranje is de warmste en in het lichte gebied de meest verzadigbare kleurtoon van het systeem, maar in het donkere gebied blijft hij juist achter bij rood.
De verklaring ligt in wat oranje is: een lichte kleur van nature. Verlaag de lichtheid en het pigment kan de verzadiging niet meer dragen. Rood kan dat wel — vandaar bordeaux, en vandaar dat er geen donkere tegenhanger van oranje bestaat.
