Colour family from the 800 series: six solid colours and one metallic. The family sits in the mid-light, near-neutral region with no pronounced colour direction.
The six solid colours. 850-1 through to 850-6. The range covers a wide lightness span, from L* 78 to L* 32. Position -1 and position -6 differ enough to work as a contrasting pair in a design.
The metallic. 850-M is matched to these six and intended to be applied alongside them, not as a replacement for any of the six. The metallic 850-M is clearly darker than the six solid colours.
