About colour family 810

Colour family from the 800 series: six solid colours and one metallic. The family sits in the dark, near-neutral region with no pronounced colour direction.

The six solid colours. 810-1 through to 810-6. The range covers a wide lightness span, from L* 64 to L* 28. Position -1 and position -6 differ enough to work as a contrasting pair in a design.

The metallic. 810-M is matched to these six and intended to be applied alongside them, not as a replacement for any of the six. The metallic 810-M is clearly darker than the six solid colours. Never judge a metallic on a flat sample alone: viewing angle, film thickness and application method all help determine the result. Work with a sample in the final finish.
