About RAL 2013
Character. Not an opaque colour. The pearlescent pigment refracts the light, so that the colour shifts with viewing angle and lighting — under direct lighting the sheen comes forward, under diffuse light the colour falls back to a subdued brown-orange.
Application. Product design, decorative finishing and façade elements where an effect is wanted.
Effect colours cannot be reproduced with the same precision as opaque colours: film thickness, application method and spray direction all help determine the result. Assess on a sample in the final finish, under varying angles.
