The RAL K6 consists of loose colour samples in A6 format in satin gloss. You order per colour; the compact size is meant for sending with a quotation, adding to a file, or holding against an existing surface on site. If you want to judge a colour at greater size, choose the RAL K4 in A4 format. For fixing a colour at approval or in quality control, the primary standard RAL 840-HR or RAL 841-GL is the reference to use. RAL Classic holds 216 colours with a four-digit number, arranged by colour group from the 1000 series through to the 9000 series. The collection also contains the safety and signal colours laid down in the DIN standards.
