RAL 840-HR loose colour samples

RAL 840-HR is the primary standard of RAL Classic in satin gloss. Unlike a fan deck or a colour sample, this is an original paint specimen with the accompanying measurement data: it is the colour against which every other version is checked. Use these samples when a colour has to be fixed in a binding way — at colour approval, in the quality control of a production batch, or when formulating a paint. For choosing and presenting a colour, an ordinary colour sample is enough. For high gloss, the corresponding primary standard is RAL 841-GL. Both are supplied per colour; you order only the colours you need. Mind the shelf life: a primary standard ages under the influence of light and air. Store the samples in the dark and replace them when they serve as a reference.
