Colour family from the 700 series: six solid colours and one metallic. The family sits in the very dark, near-neutral region with no pronounced colour direction.
The six solid colours. 790-1 through to 790-6. The range runs from L* 30 to L* 15 — a restrained gradation, useful when parts need to differ from one another without reading as a different colour.
The metallic. 790-M is matched to these six and intended to be applied alongside them, not as a replacement for any of the six. The metallic 790-M is comparable in lightness to the six solid colours. Never judge a metallic on a flat sample alone: viewing angle, film thickness and application method all help determine the result. Work with a sample in the final finish.
