About RAL 7016
Character. Darker than RAL 7015 slate grey and lighter than RAL 7021 black grey. The blue undertone is decisive: next to a warm material such as timber or brick that coolness comes through clearly, and that is exactly why the colour is chosen so often for window frames and why it sometimes disappoints.
Application. Window frames, facade elements, doors, gutters, fencing and mechanical engineering. The standard colour for modern window frames in the Netherlands.
RAL 7016 and RAL 7021 black grey are the most frequently confused of all the colours in the collection. When matching existing work, comparison against a sample is essential.
