About colour family 510

Colour family from series 500: six solid colours and one metallic. The family sits in the medium-light, moderately saturated region with a red-violet hue.

The six solid colours. 510-1 through to 510-6. The range covers a wide lightness span, from L* 83 to L* 36. Position -1 and position -6 differ enough to work as a contrasting pair in a design.

The metallic. 510-M is matched to these six and intended to be applied alongside them, not as a replacement for any of the six. The metallic 510-M is clearly darker than the six solid colours. Never judge a metallic on a flat sample alone: viewing angle, film thickness and application method all help determine the result. Work with a sample in the final finish.
