About colour family 250
Colour family from series 200: six solid colours and one metallic. The family sits in the medium-light, saturated region with a yellow-green hue.
The six solid colours. 250-1 through to 250-6. The series covers a wide lightness range, from L* 91 to L* 43. Position -1 and position -6 differ so much that they can work as a contrasting pair in a design.
The metallic. 250-M is matched to these six and is intended to be used alongside them, not as a replacement for one of the six. The metallic 250-M is comparable in lightness to the six solid colours. Never assess a metallic on a flat sample alone: viewing angle, film thickness and application method all help determine the result. Work with a sample in the final finish.
