The RAL D8 Design Box holds the complete RAL DESIGN SYSTEM plus: 1,825 colours across 8 handy fan decks. Every colour page is full-surface in semi-matt, so you judge the shades as they really are instead of going by a narrow strip. On the back of each page you will find the seven-digit colour code and the colour name in English and German. Arranged by the CIELab colour circle The RAL DESIGN SYSTEM plus is built up systematically around the CIELab colour circle. That logic carries through into how the set is divided: each fan deck covers one defined part of the colour space, with five hue rows per deck. Each deck carries the numbers of the rows it holds, so you reach for the right one straight away. The colour circle is printed inside the box lid as a point of orientation within the system. Working with separate fan decks The decks can be taken out of the box individually. That makes focused work easy: you lay shades from different decks side by side to build contrasts, or to assemble a series of equal lightness. For work away from the office you take only what you need. The sturdy box protects the colour samples from dust and light and so keeps their colour fastness intact. Specifications
