Water-based RAL K7 colour fan deck now available

The RAL K7 colour fan deck is now produced in Germany using water-based paint. The deck still holds all 216 colours of the RAL Classic collection.

The move to water-borne paints fits the broader shift in the coatings industry towards products with fewer solvents. Nothing changes for the user in terms of colour: the samples meet the same tolerances as before and are matched to the primary standard RAL 840-HR.

The K7 therefore remains the most widely used reference for RAL Classic in the office and on site: compact, ordered consistently by colour group, and with the RAL numbers clearly legible beside each sample.
