Online RAL colour training for colour professionals

For anyone working professionally with RAL colours there is an online colour training course, allowing you to deepen your knowledge of the RAL systems whenever it suits you.

The course covers the three collections and how they differ: RAL Classic with its historically grown range, RAL Design System plus with its systematic structure in the CIELab colour space, and RAL Effect with its family structure of solid colours and metallics.

It also covers how to record a colour so that it stays reproducible: what a primary standard is, why a fan deck sample is not the same as a measured value, and what part light and material play in assessing colour.

The course is provided by the Nederlandse Kleurenschool, the training arm of the Nederlands Kleur Instituut.
