About RAL 280 20 30
Nowhere else in the RAL Design system does this much colour occur at this darkness. The red hues reach 25 to 29 here, blue gets no further than 20 to 23, and yellow stops at 10.
That makes violet the colour family that combines depth and colour strength best — precisely the mirror image of yellow, which combines lightness and colour strength. The two extremes of the circle are also the two extremes in what they can do.
